Look at the book "Dog Nutrition for Dummies" by Dr. Chris Zink. There are some good, well balanced diets in there that you can make for your dog. I make them for mine, and they love it and do well on them and I don’t have to worry about any dog food recalls.

That all depends on your definition of natural….A lot of meat you get from the grocery store will have dyes and preservatives in them to keep them fresh longer and better looking…this is not healthy and makes things become very bad for both humans and animals. Your best bet is to research a raw food diet and be sure to buy organic foods or buy a natural food from a pet store which might be easier and most likely cheaper.
